As most of our neighbors had to replace their roofs due to the hail storm that we all experienced last April, now is the time to look for other damages on mailboxes and posts, gutters, and pool screen enclosures, etc., before the next property inspection in early 2024.
Below is an excerpt from our STANDING RULES (revised October 2023, to update the SWCA Standard Color Selections link) concerning mailboxes and posts:
SR-Section 6. Mailboxes
a. Mailboxes, posts, and applied house numbers must be uniform to the Community: single size/shape, black paint, silver/reflective numbers, and a red flag.
b. Mailboxes must be kept in good repair (e.g., no flaked or faded paint, no faded flags, and no broken or missing numbers).
c. Plants and other landscaping must not obstruct visibility of the house numbers on either side of the mailbox post.

Meeting notices, newsletters and other important messages are sent out via email. Email is the quickest way to get important information to all homeowners without relying on snail mail, which can be costly as postage costs increase every year. To minimize the cost of office supplies, printed copies of the newsletter will no longer be posted by the bulletin board. We encourage all residents to update their directory information by including an email address. Email is just another environmentally friendly method of communicating. If you have an email address, please update your directory information by including your email address. SWCA does not publish email addresses. Send all directory updates to: sheridan.woods.fl@gmail.com
